Which plan for a mobile wifi unit
I have a wifi unit in my motorhome, use it for basic internet browsing etc via ipad, do I just need a data sim in this case?

JohnSimp_579675 As Linsey says, but also be aware that you will effectively be inside a metal box and this can act as a Faraday Cage, shielding you from electromagnetic waves. Some people have reported difficulties using mobile inside motorhomes/caravans.

Yes, to be honest, you can use any unlimited SIM, it doesn't necessarily need to be the DATA ONLY one.
I would make sure that your Wi-Fi device supports 4G LTE for data connectivity.
