Voicemail SETUP

Hi everyone, Iam trying to setup my voicemail function for the first time however its proving problematic. It asks me to record my name, I've tried various names and it keeps saying it has not been recorded. It does this for three attempts then hangs up on me. Anyone any idea whats going on. Its driving me crazy.
