Using my phone my Thailand and the cheapest way
Hi I'm travelling to Thailand in January 2026 for 10 days..so not to leave this to the last minute 😉 I have read the guides here and am aware of certain settings so my phone with a Smarty Sim card ...

You will definitely be better off with either a local sim or else an international data e-sim (if your phone can accept esims). You can set up the international Esim before you go, but it may be more complicated to get a local sim beforehand I think.
