Unsolicited Calls From Three UK?

I joined Smarty in September and I'm really happy with the network.

However I've started getting unsolicited phone calls from either Three UK or third party companies acting on Three's behalf.

Does Smarty sell customer lists to Three? Or if not how do they get hold of my number?

Mobile number ranges are public domain information phil8715.

As a result some think it worthwhile calling the mobile numbers, in the ranges allocated to the UK mobile network operators, hoping to sell you something, or perhaps hoping to scam you.

phil8715  There are plenty of scammers trying their luck all the time.

The most (in)famous of these is probably the O2 call trying to upgrade the contract that you don't have!

      MSF is correct phil8715

I dont have a contract with O2 yet had two calls earlier this week, offering to upgrade my non existent O2 contract

Mobile phone scams are the new "we are ringing about your car accident" scam.
