Two active sims
I seem to have a ‘travel’ sim and a ‘primary’ account and have no idea how or why!

JanisFy_2994612 That suggests that you either have a phone with two sim slots with one sim in each or else have added anesim in addition to your physical SIM card.
Do those sims show different numbers? That will give a clue.
