Twitter blue sign up

When attempting to verify my phone number with Twitter I get a message saying the operator smarty is not recognised, is there a fix?

    I'd venture that's an issue for Twitter to look into, not SMARTY - good luck MarcoCa_1199308.

    Does Twitter send messages via a short-code? That is currently not supported by Smarty.

    In some case, people have reported problems where a company uses a third party to send verification codes. Generally I have had no problem receiving verification codes from a host of different sources
