Text sent from wrong number
When I text people the message is sent on the temporary number that smarty gave me prior to porting. This has only changed recently as I have been with smarty a while now and had no problems until September. My number is correct in the settings so not sure why this is happening. Any help is appreciated.

IanScho_2633947 I'm a little surprised that you have not already found out about this as there is a large number of posts on just that topic.
The SIM card 'remembered' the original number.
The solution is either
1.(iPhone) sign out of Messages and FaceTime then sign back in
2. Setting> My Number and manually change it
3. Settings> Network reset.
