KennethM_117224  In short, by adding a shed-load of money to your account.

I suggest that you look at help articles on Roaming (outside the EU specifically) and also look at the Price Guide for costs.

You would need to add credit to your account to do so, and the costs are very high. For example, data is 10p per MB (about £100 per GB) in Brazil, 25p per MB (about £250 per GB) in Argentina. It would be much cheaper for you to get a local SIM in South America, or use a travel eSIM like Airalo if your phone supports eSIM.

I heard good things about Airalo but their Trustpilot scores are terrible - any thoughts?

DavidGr_1670207 I used them last year on a trip and they were fine. More recently I used Roamless and they were also fine - the good thing is that you retain any unused credit on your account (as opposed to a fixed term plan from Airalo) although I believe that they may be slightly more expensive per unit in some countries.

yuriWen_1465336 @and how does that comment help? SmartyTrousers  offered helpful and correct advice. Why not try the same yourself?
