Solved problems after a lot of hassle
I am a new customer. When I got my sim and my number ported over, I found I couldn't send SMS or make calls to landlines. Turned out that the problem was that I needed to delete the esim that I had been using before the SMARTY sim. I have spent nearly all day either on the phone to Apple (my phone is iphone 14 pro) or online chatting to SMARTY and none of them could sort it. Feel quite proud of myself and it's a heads up to anyone who has a similar problem on joining and who has been using an esim.
