Smarty eSim and Apple Watch
Hi community!
The recent Apple announcement on the iPhone Air seems to have forced Smarty's hand on eSim. So we finally have eSim on Smarty!! However, trying to enable Mobile Service on my Apple Watch and I get:
"Your airtime plan is not compatible with the smartwatch pairing service - Please call your contact center"
After speaking with Smarty support, it seems they just dont support smartwatches. So, we are in the same place as several years ago, just with an eSim instead of a physical sim.
Seems really odd, the older posts about Smartwatch support got replies saying "We dont support eSim so you cant use your Smartwatch". However, now you have eSim support and we still cant use Smartwatches. Whats the reason this time??
I dont mind paying a few extra quid each month for it to work, I just want it to work!

Yes…I keep looking to see if there is a chance of getting my Apple Watch up and running. But it seems it maybe time to move on. Shame I like Smarty.

Needleski Judging by the time it tool to get to esim, it's hard to see the next step arriving that quickly.
It seems like only the major networks actually currently offer Apple Watch set up with a phone. If you get a good Three signal, then they will probably be dearer, but may be your best way forward if it's a deal breaker for you, I guess.
