Why is my number showing as the smarty number when I've carried over a new number
Depends Michael_1960413 . Do you mean on your account dashboard? If so, the number has not ported I suspect.
If it's on your phone, you need to change the number in the Settings - the phone still 'remembers' the number that was on the sim when you first put it in.

I have the same issue, sim showing smarty number but not the number i transferred (which is actually working). I want the sim to show my actual number. I cannot change the sim number in any settings (samsung).
If you've just transferred your number to SMARTY, have you tried a Network Reset on your Samsung handset paulchi_1845592?
