Selective Roaming
I'm going on a European cruise in the New Year. Don't want to buy onboard wi-fi as it's crazy expensive! How can I set up my phone for roaming so that it will access land based cell towers, but NOT the ship network?

Michael_3417742 According to this article, you should manually set the network it connects to, under Network Operators. https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/2090500-roaming-and-international#h_969697e823. I don't know if it is possible to choose a network to roam with before you travel though.
Alternatively, you can disable Data Roaming on your phone while you are onboard, and reenable it after you reach land.
