Second sim for 4g router
I have a smarty sim for my phone which I’ve been using for the last few years now and am very happy with price and service.
I want to get a second data only sim to use in a 4g router to be used only when we are on holiday in the uk, to give the family internet access.
Can I add this as a group plan?
I wouldn’t renew it every month but only when we needed it when going on holiday. Would I need to get a new sim each time or can they be reactivated when needed?

Hammer2001 Yes, you can add it to a group plan - and you will get 10%discount (unless you buy on special offer).
You need to untick the auto-renew option for that sim plan. If you do not use a sim for 180 days, you receive a 40 day 'warning' email and the sim is deactivated after that. This means that you should have no problem buying a plan for the same sim while it remains active (it should show on the account dashboard).
