Receive whilst paused

Hi, 

im travelling for a few months, so I’ll have a local sim in another phone for day to day use.

if I pause my smarty contract, I know I won’t be able to send out messages /calls but will I still be able to receive messages to my smarty number? I’ll need it for OTP’s for banking etc.

    No, you need an active service that’s not been paused, to receive calls and texts, which includes OTP’s. 

    No active plan, then you won’t receive OTP’s.
