Voicemail
Does smarty have they own voicemail instead of recording your own? Thanks
Not happy with having to record name. I get a lot of random calls and unless I know the number I never answer. Giving more info with a name is not a good idea.
I just used a bot to say my phone number and recorded that. If someone is calling me they already have my number so no harm done.
I’m unable to pass the record name bit. I tried to record silence but it didn’t work. Just repeat it.
Often, the silence makes the system think theres an error and it will prompt you to try again.
You are not obligated to state your name but you do need to say something in order to set up the voicemail. This article may help, Setting up voicemail | SMARTY Help Centre.
