then after listening to the message body, or anytime , press "#" it'll read the number out, and call it

Surely, you need to know who left the message before listening to something that may drone on for ages. You can then decide if you are even going to bother listening to it.
I imagine that the voicemail system sorts messages by the originating number and so I'm not sure how it would announce a message if not by giving the number it came from.
For me , I prefer to listen to the message first.
I can tell if it junk within a few seconds.
My other supplier , vodafone played the message first, and at any time I could pres 5 , and it would read out the digits and call the mobile.

It would be amazing if the smarty website were to document the menu tree in writing somewhere. It's very tedious having to listen to all the unfamiliar options when you want to do something specific and could 'plan ahead'
