iPhone 16E and eSIM
Apple are saying that the iPhone 16E (recently released this week) no longer supports physical SIMs. Will this mean SMARTY will now support eSIMs?
MarkyR74 Given that the 'Orange One' is unhappy that China don't buy enough from the USA, an Esim only model would currently stop them buying iPhones altogether as they do not yet permit Esims. That may be enough to stop that move.
It is one iPhone model, that’s will still sell in the tens of millions else where so I don’t think it’ll stop them at all. They have wanted to make a portless eSIM only phone for ages.
