putting my smarty sim in a spare phone
Hi there i have a smarty sim account with you currently but my phone is brocken so i have taken my sim out and want to use it in a spare phone i have been given. Can i do this ? and how can i get it to work as I have put the sim in my spare phone which is a samsung J3 2017 but the internet side of it is not working!! My phone works with my number through. Do i need to unlock it ???? If so can you do this for

Hello all I updated the time and date and it automaticcally did this and everything works now, many thanks for all your help

Have you tried using the prefix "https://" when entering a URL in the web browser on your Samsung device MarcoZa_1111941?
For example, what happens when you enter "https://news.bbc.co.uk"?
The web browser on your Samsung J3 would need to support the https Internet protocol.
Maybe try one of the following instead: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox - good luck.Tried that https etc and didnt work, also I cant download Google chrome etc as no internet
MarcoZa_1111941 Can you try connecting via wifi somewhere?
If the phone was last used some time ago, it may be that much of the software is out of date - this can often affect security patches in the operating system.

You should have no problem moving the sim to another phone (assuming it does actually fit i.e. both nano sim etc).
You may need to ensure that the mobile data settings are correct on the Samsung J3:

Hi MarcoZa_1111941 . Does that apply to ALL web pages?
If I am doing a 'test run' I usually try www.bbc.co.uk when in the UK. I find it a tried and tested web site.
