Phone disconnected from network before travelling abroad. How do I reactivate?
My phone is set up for use abroad and I have an out of plan add on. But I still can't use my phone abroad. I think this is because I switched the phone off before leaving the UK. How do I re-connect? I particularly need access to text messages

DancingBirch I agree with SmartyTrousers that turning off your phone should not stop it working abroad. I always turn off my phone before boarding an aircraft and turn on when I arrive at the destination airport.
There is no problem switching your phone off before you leave the UK. Indeed, if you are flying, you should be turning it off or putting it in airplane mode.
Where are you trying to use the phone and which add-on have you bought? What exactly is happening - are you just seeing 'No Service' displayed?
