Raymond_2862787 As well as advice from SmartyTrousers , have you turned the phone off and then on after a short while to try and for ce it to register to network?

Have you activated your SIM and received the email or text confirming that activation is complete? If so, have you checked Smarty's coverage checker to see whether the area you are in is expected to have coverage?
