New, what happens to payments to my old provider?

Just moved to Smarty from Lebara. I cannot see any information on if or how I cancel payments to my old provider. Do payments automatically stop when the switch completes or should I contact them?

peterPa_1342022 While I generally agree with SmartyTrousers , I would apply a 'belt & braces' approach by cancelling payments in your Lebara account just to be sure.
If you have ported your number to Smarty, which sounds to be the case, your old service terminates on the day your number transfers over, and no more payments will be taken by your old provider.
