MiFi and smarty sim not working

Hi @ i keep trying to set up MiFi and keeps asking for SIM lock code? My smarty sim is activated so what am I looking for ?

    Your device is network locked and requires an unlock code from the network who supplied it in order to use it with another network.

    JulesWe_2447685  Is this a new device? If so, the manual should tell you.
