Laptop connectivity to internet

Apollon_4311529​ I don't think many laptops have cellular connection capabilities. There are 4G or 5G dongles, but I think those take physical SIM cards rather than eSIM.

You can load the eSIM into your phone and then tether using either a wireless hotspot or connect your phone via USB and do USB tethering (make sure your cable is not USB 2.0 otherwise your speed will be about 300mbps). You can also do Bluetooth tethering, but it is painfully slow; the link speed is only 3mbps but I measured the internet speeds at 1mbps. There is Ethernet tethering, which needs a USB Ethernet adapter and an Ethernet cable, but this feels more inconvenient than USB tethering.
