This is terrible, because I'm only in London this weekend and I won't be able to enjoy the city. I'm sad and frustrated, and I'm also going through an anxiety crisis.

NayranC_4125913 Haven't you got the physical sim? That will work if you have not changed over to an esim.
Can you look at your Account Dashboard to see what is showing there? As you have some form of internet access, you can maybe web chat as I suggested.
London is a great city and you will be able to enjoy it I'm sure - even without the phone.
