RolandG_4288413 I agree with the extensive advice from ZenovA

A 'heads up'  - people are happy to have a go at assisting you, but you really do need to explain more fully what you have already tried and some type of timeline.

RolandG_4288413 There is not much information to go off of. WhatsApp doesn't use your SIM for anything, as calls and texts are done online on their servers, and only uses your phone number for logging in. After receiving the SIM, did you activate it? Can you use Data and SMS? Is your phone VoLTE capable and not an old phone that only does 3G/2G calls? Can you make or receive calls via WiFi Calling?

I had issues receiving calls, and support will usually give these steps to try fixing the issue if it is on your end:

    • Restarting your phone, turning airplane mode on and off, and switching between 4G and 5G network modes
    • Make sure there is no call barring, forwarding or blocked numbers, and do not disturb or silent mode is disabled
    • Reinserting the SIM and inserting the SIM into the second SIM slot if your phone is dual-SIM
    • Inserting the SIM into various other phones that are VoLTE capable
    • Updating the phone to the latest updates, as well as updating all applications
    • Making sure Wi-Fi Calling and VoLTE calls for the SIM are enabled
    • Resetting mobile network settings
    • Confirm you have network coverage and that there are no outages in your area
    • Testing services while outside a building, as well as in a different area, also confirming network coverage and no outages in that area
    • Getting a replacement SIM

If you ported in your number, there might be a porting issue that can only be fixed on their end as this article says, and you would need to contact support via Live Chat. From there, they will most likely create a ticket for an internal team to handle your calling issue and contact you by Email. Try to give them as much information to help them find the issue.
