EU data after 60 days?
- 13-04-2026
adsm_3453103 You will find more information in the Smarty Price Guide:
https://cdn.smarty.co.uk/files/SMARTY-Price-Guide.pdf P.11 states that you may only Roam in the EU for up to 60 consecutive days and so that may be the problem.
If his plan only contains 12Gb data then when it is used up, you could add a Data Add On - see P.14
If he has just used the 12Gb Roaming Allowance, you can buy Roaming Data Passes for 1 or 3 days - see p16.
That said, if he has a relatively modern phone, you may be better off with a Travel Esim from companies such as Airalo, Roamless, Saily etc (Loads of them out there) as they usually work out cheaper.

Thanks, yeah the problem is 60 days. He has 40gb of data. I just wondered if there was a work around, but maybe not. 3 days isn't really worth it. He already uses an esim, but I just wanted to claw back some of the stuff I paid for that isn't being used (because 60 day limit/data cutoff)

adsm_3453103 Don't forget that most phones will allow more than one esim - an iPhone can take 8 I believe.
He could add a Tavel sim as priority for data and then turn the Smarty sim off in Settings when he has used his 60 days worth
