Esim in the uk ...
Hi,
I ordered a physical sim (one-off monthly "contract") for my dual sim phone so that I can set Smarty as the data side, and back up calls side (different network) while off away in the camper.
It has not arrived and I'm due to travel tomorrow.
Do I have the option to "replace" it with an esim?
If so I don't see a way in to do that :-/
Anyone had the same issue?

I'm not keen to activate the plan only to find that I can't use the data for the three weeks that I'm away ... If someone knows for sure that what you suggest will definitely work I'll give it a go!

MIKERum_4318509 For what it's worth, I agree with ZenovA .
As you started by ordering a physical sim, I do not see that you can convert it to an esim until it has been activated. Activating it will of course start the clock ticking on the first Smarty plan that you paid for.
Alternative. Start off a new esim directly from Smarty home page and then request a refund for the physical sim that has not turned up maybe?

Yes, that seems like a more reliable alternative ... will dither a bit and do one or the other!
MIKERum_4318509 You might need to activate the SIM, and then go to your account settings and find the Replace SIM option, and pick eSIM from there, and it will be Emailed to you. If that link didn't work, follow this article.
