Egypt. What do I need to buy to make. My phone work ?

Then look at Price Guide to see cost of International Roaming and decide how much top up you will need to add to your account.
You can also consider an e-sim that works in Egypt if your phone will accept it or you could purchase a local SIM card when there.
Finally, consider any free wifi and using something like WhatsApp to make calls to others who have the app.
