Data only sim in a reolink cctv camera

Hi I'm new to smarty have a data only sim in a reolink lte cctv camera, for the first week or so the speeds were good, now as soon as I connect to the camera the speeds decrease eventually to nothing within 30 seconds or so then the camera disconnects, is there some form of throttling going on here

      Thankyou, there must be another word for what's going on then, to go from a fairly decent connection a few weeks ago when i joined to reducing speeds from 250kbs to nothing in 30 seconds or so, I don't think it's the camera as it was fine on o2, rebooting makes no difference.

        From what you have described, it would appear that you are experiencing the same symptoms that i had before I left Smarty and moved over to a competitor (1p mobile) whilst i awaited the installation of fibre. The problem could be a problem with or a poorly configured faulty LTE stack at the local mast. Every time i checked for a problem with the service checker, the same message was displayed "there is a problem in your area and we are working on a fix" or words to that effect.  I had the same message for over 2 months. Please also be aware that 3 Three have released a statement that they will be reducing bandwidth in certain circumstances. As Smarty use 3 and Vodafone masts for their coverage, there may be a link between the chain of events. Hope this helps.
