Should i take the SMARTY sim out of my dongle and put it directly into my phone as it does not seem to be working

IanPenn_2699780 Certainly try it in your phone to check that it works.
If it does work in the phone then it may be that:
A. Your dongle settings are not correct for APN
B. Dongle locked to a network other than Three
C. Dongle broken.
