Competition entry by text
Hi.
How can I enter competitions by text? I have tried a uk add on but it still will not allow me to do this.

HelenJa_2680215 Not sure that they shout about it anywhere but at least you are only in 'contract' for one month maximum.
HelenJa_2680215 In short, you cannot do it. The reason is that most of those entries require a short-code text - uses 5 or 6 digits - and Smarty does not currently support the system and has not announced plans to do so in the near future.
So although i have just joined, it looks like i need to look elsewhere to a company that does not take away my free choice to do this and is not running on out of date technology!
HelenJa_2680215 If using short-code texts is an important feature for you, then I suppose that you would unfortunately need to look elsewhere.
I'm not sure that this qualifies as 'running on out of date technology' though
