change from o2 to smarty
hi,i already have smarty unlimited wifi £20 been great been using for months now,so i just gave smarty my o2 number a pac to change the smarty number to my o2,i need the full access of calls and txts and unlimited wifi for £20,my smarty sim only does the wifi only,so when this change takes place,can i still use my number for calls/texts or does that just mean iv just changed my o2 number to wifi only sim card,i need this number as iv had this for years so need calls and texts or should i use the cancel process,i can phone smarty as im broke,so needs to be responce on here.ta jim

If your Sim is on a data only package you will not be able to make calls and texts until that is changed to a full service package including calls and texts.
If you can't see how to do this in your dashboard when you log in go t The Contact Us Web Page scroll down and under where it says 'How To Get More Help' there is a link labelled 'Start A Webchat' Click on that and you will initiate a webchat with a Smarty support agent, they don't accept phone calls. They can change the package for you. I've had to do this myself. This change takes place when your monthly billing dates comes up and the service resets.
You may have to do this after your No has ported across from O2 You will know that as you should receive an e:mail telling you and the No shown in your dashboard when you log in online or on the Smarty App displays your Sims current No and so should then show your O2 No.. You may have to restart your phone for this to update. Porting a No across from another network takes one working day after the porting request with the PAC no is submitted.
It may be a good idea to use the webchat link on the Contact Us webpage that I posted above to confirm this with a Smarty staff member even if your O2 No has not come across yet
