Caravan mobile internet - which data SIM?

Hello

I've been a Smarty mobile user for some time, and have recently bought a caravan with mobile internet.

Please can someone help me decide which type of SIM to get? Some months it will get little use, others perhaps a couple of zoom meetings up to 90 mins and if bad weather the odd movie or TV catchup. So my useage could vary from very little to quite a lot. Do Smarty add ons expire? I see there are data passes which might be the way to go. I also saw on here a post about using existing phone SIM, though the router is in the most awkward place to get at. Any help to navigate this so I can make a sensible decision would be very welcome.

Christi_1774849 Not sure if this will be helpful....but here goes anyway!

It's hard to predict how much data every app will eat. A Zoom meeting of 90mins (in my experience) can eat 1.5Gb data.

Add 0ns never expire - pleases smarty Price Guide:

So, you could buy a plan plus have a data add on sitting in the account ready for if you run out.

Also, if you are not going away, then you can either not buy any Smarty plan for up to 180 days without receiving a 40 day  warning email.

You can use an existing phone sim - in that case, you can usually hotspot off the phone for data use - I have run a Zoom that way when my home broadband fell over in the middle of an important meeting.

Putting a sim in the router means that it is available always, but as you say, it is fiddly if you want to take it out and put it in a phone.

    Lots of choice.....Confused?....not surprising unfortunately.
