Almost no telephone reception

Two iPhone 16e at home and almost no reception, two bars if I am lucky. Notification of missed call often arrives hours later. Have tried all suggestions for altering settings. Postcode LE7, this has been going on for some time, months. I can only assume it is a network problem, three.

Signal is normal when out and about, from very good to crap dependent on where I am.  Friends around us have the same problem so not just us or our property. Considering we are more reliant on mobiles these days I would expect things to be better than they are

HOWARDS_2154000 Trouble is, the better a network's signal, the more people use it, the more congested it gets, the worse the service becomes! That's progress!!

Ofcom show poor coverage with none close by. After changing setting to 4G from 5G auto the signal seems better.  While out and about in the country signal strength is good including 5G where available.

    Postcode LE7 2AL.

Have looked at all the coverage sites,  Leicestershire seems to be better covered by EE.

Property is a normal detached brick house.

Signal once outside our area is normal on both 4 and 5G.  Was in London last week with four bars where ever I went.  Signal strength is poor in both receipt and transmission, calls often get dropped sometimes fully causing a recall.  At least we have full fibre.

HOWARDS_2154000 Have you looked at the Smarty Coverage checker and also the Network Status checker?

I can see that the former does show some 'dead spots' in the general area, but you will need to enter a specific postcode for a proper check.

Even then, occasionally building features can prevent a good signal in an area. Are you getting a signal when you are out and about away from the area?
