Account paused for no reason.
Woke up this morning not being able to make calls or texts. I logged onto my smarty app using WiFi and it says account paused. All my payment details are up to date and I even re added them again to make sure. I pay with a credit card so there is no issue with there not being enough money in the account. What's going on?
Has this happened to anyone else?

Same thing. They paused account just after midnight. They took the payment this morning around 9:30. They are aware of the problem. So annoying.

I also had exactly the same problem, took ages to get through on the chat, they said they could see the payment and it should resolve itself. I could make calls but no data.
Mid morning I received a text and email confirming my payment, rebooted the phone and everything was working again, somewhat annoying. - RickySMARTY Pioneer01-03-2026
Mines working now, was only my data that stopped but I had same issues as most of you, no data message, greyed out renew/unpause button. Never happened before.
Just leave it and youl get a text confirming payment then restart your phone.

Me too! Bit of a basic IT error. Collapsed at midnight. Resolved suddenly at 08.55. Hopefully, they’ll spot it and sort out by next year. Mind you it looks as though there were lots of grumbles on 1st March last year so they may be slow learners.

My payment has now gone through but my plan is still paused. I message on the web chat but am still waiting on a reply. I will be going out soon and need my data working!

Same thing happened to me. I think they can’t cope with 28 days in Feb as it looks as though problem occurs regularly. They eventually took my money at 8ish this morning. Not return of service. Waited 30 mins and rebooted my phone - service restored. Coincidence? Maybe…

I am having the same issue. This has never happened in February of previous years though. I saw on another message on the board that it has happened to someone who pays on the first day of the month too.
