5G down to 4G in TW20 area
When I first joined Smarty I was happy with my unlimited data only SIM which received a fast reliable 5G NSA connection. Earlier this week I noticed my modem was displaying a weaker 4G signal and had changed bands. I've tried in vain to re-connect to the original 1/78 bands that were providing 5G speeds
The Smarty Network Status Checker has now been reporting my postcode as: "We're working on improving the network in this area at the moment. We're sorry for any disruption this may cause. We'll add any further updates here."
For days now and I have been stuck on a slow 4G signal that barely gives us 8Mb download speed.
Considering leaving Smarty if this does not improve very soon, I thought the merger with Vodafone was supposed to improve things?

Chris_4126123 Are you able to carrier aggregate other LTE bands with your router in the meantime? I doubt the local mast is only transmitting B1.
