sim card

Hey, So I don't know if the problem is the SIM or my phones. My mum sent me a SIM and I have activated it and bought a plan about 2 days ago I think it was. I have tried the SIM in 2 different phones and no service on both. I have been in the settings on both and it is saying SMARTY card is in and on but just no service/emergency calls only. I've tried airplane mode, taking SIM out and back in and restarting phones several times. Anyone got any advice or solution? Thank you.81Views0likes2CommentsAdditional 2nd SIMs; Simple Web FIX
Hi SMARTY Team, So I thought to use my spare sim your team gave me when I signed up to start my original plan, thing is to add this sim to my current SMARTY account isn’t a simple or well smart (pardon the pun) process as it seems to activate another physical SIM currently a customer must; - go to the link provided and add a plan via a separate account (like a new customer) except I’m an existing customer so when I see there’s a big pink button that says sign in to activate.. cause it won’t allow me to use an existing email address on the activation page, I’m thinking “Great! I click this and I add my second SIM number when I log in.. ONLY that currently isn’t an option. Yes you do have a pop up on the webpage when logged in to ask to transfer or keep the number and you do have an option for a group plan that then asks to manage a device but only asks to order a sim, not add a physical sim a customer already has. MY SIMPLE & SMARTY FIX edit the pop up; by adding one question.. after the system can tell there’s another unused SIM when the customer is logged in; see you have activated a SIM ending in the numbers #### is this a transfer of your number or an addition to add to your account plans? A) as current (transfer number) B) keep number but ADD the option to add that number to a Group Plan via the Group Plan page (while customer is logged in) as a switch under the ordering of another sim. Here’s the reasoning WHY! NO MORE TEMP SMARTY ACCOUNTS that are secondary to the original account; All customers have ONE account via one email. NO CONFUSION for the customer; the button that says “sign in to activate” now makes sense for those wishing to use a second SIM. NO EXTRA WASTE; SMARTY does not need to send out another SIM to an existing customer who already has a SIM they (like myself) wish to use. SAVES TIME; no need to send an invite or wait on the SIM that would be connected to the group plan. SIMPLE . EFFICIENT . SMART!285Views0likes3CommentsOnePlus Nord 2T and Smarty
I have a OnePlus Nord 2T phone, which I got as a brand new phone a while ago but only just trying to use it with my Smarty sim card for wifi calling. I have read some other posts that seem to concurr that it doesn't work! I am wondering if anyone has found a way to get it to work? I have been using a OnePlus 6T which also wasn't supposed to work, but I found some software online that I risked downloading and it has been working fine for a few years. I only wanted to upgrade for a better camera, I like my old phone! I contacted OnePlus and they just said Smarty wasn't a compatible sim. Seems very odd when I've been using a much older phone without issue (granted with additional software). I live in a remote area with no mobile signal so wifi calling is absolutely essential for me. Grateful for any help!25Views0likes0CommentsNew sim
Hi.. I cannot request PAC code on my old SIM card as it's not recognised by the phone.. I bought another SIM and logged in with my details hoping to swap numbers or bring the old number over but being the card is dead that's a problem. So I used the email verify method to log in and obviously the new card doesn't work and the phone has the old number in the settings. I have an unlimited plan I hoped to bring over or keep the old number with the functioning SIM card I've got. Not sure what to do with this perhaps I have to cancel the plan and start fresh ? Thanks if you can help.681Views0likes2Comments
