[Open Discussion] Console Wars: Xbox vs PlayStation
So the big question is – Xbox or PlayStation and WHY? There is a lot to consider when choosing the right console, the value for money, the exclusive games, the graphics, the performance, GamePass/PS Plus and even the apps available on both consoles! We are lucky to have such a variety of features to choose from! Personally, I am a fan of Xbox and have been since the Xbox 360. I am currently using the Xbox Series S which does not include the disc tray, this was way more affordable for me than the Series X. Luckily, I prefer to download my games through the store so not having the disc tray isn’t a huge issue! I enjoy being able to use Discord so I can communicate with friends using PlayStation when playing cross platform games , this has only recently been introduced and it’s already one of my favourite benefits! The Game Pass allows me to download free games that I maybe couldn’t afford at the time of release, this has introduced me to some great games that I never thought I’d like! My favourite game at the moment is Apex Legends, it’s also a bonus that it’s free to play! My opinion could be biased as I’ve never played the PlayStation but I am interested to know what everyone’s opinions are and what games you all like to play!
Hello! Introducing myself
Hi everyone, I'm glad to be a part of this Community now - I thought I'd give a bit of an intro as a newbie. As per house rules no personal information will be disclosed! 🙂 In this community I am happy to be referred to as Andy, and my pronouns are He/They My hobbies: Reading (especially Beano comics & books - now that has been my special interest since 2010!), swimming, meeting friends, streaming movies & tv shows. Hint on one of my favourite cartoons: Mmmm, donuts... 🍩 - I also like cooking / baking, a nice cupcake tastes better when it's homemade! I enjoy games including Nintendo Switch & Steam games. Mario games are great fun, and I like licensed games. Think titles like The Smurfs (Switch platformer ones)... some licensed games are hidden gems. My pledge: All communities should be fun for everyone. I promise to abide by the house rules and never make anyone uncomfortable. If I unintentionally say or do anything out of line, please please please let me know so I can immediately stop and apologise. Looking forward to helping each other out & having fun chats already!
