Message for Yulian re your email to me
Hi Yulian, Received an email from you, asking me to reply, which I did, only to quickly receive a reply that the email address doesn’t exist. I joined Lebara two months ago, so the email doesn’t apply. Also, I can no longer, understandably, access my former account “JJP2” Wishing all staff and customers of Smarty a merry Christmas and happy new year, especially those fine fellows Strandloper MSF and jassingh Regards, Jeff AKA “JJP2”1.3KViews1like1CommentRe: [Announcement] BIG NEWS: You can now text shortcodes! 🎉
Smarty dors not support sending texts to shortcodes, usually 5 or 6 digit numbers. This is a topic that has been raised numerous times on this community forum, where nome of us work for Smarty, we are customers just like you.11KViews0likes0CommentsRe: SIM not recognised as being in the UK?
10-15-2023 09:01 PM The obvious thought / question is : Is what you call a "wifi hotspot" actually a mifi router with your data only SIM card in it, being used as a replacement for fixed line broadband, and are you connected through a VPN server outside of the UK ? That's the most likely cause of the issue you are experiencing. Obviously, if you are connected through a VPN, turning it off should solve the issue.4.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: SIM not recognised as being in the UK?

Has your phone changes the APN in her phone to "mob.asm.net" , which is required to use your phone abroad ? The FAQ section of this forum contains instructions on how to change the APN for both Android and iPhone. In addition, as your wife is outside both the UK and the EU, she will indeed need to purchase an add on. However, that could soon mount up, so, if your wife has an eSIM compatible phone, and feels confident in setting up an eSIM, a specialist travel eSIM from the likes of Sparks and Airalo would be cheaper. Whilst travel eSIMs are data only, you can od course use the eSIM data to make and take calls, together with sending and receiving texts through Whatsapp, Signal and Telegram.1.4KViews0likes0Comments
