Speed check reveals very poor download MBPS
Hi, Ive been doing some speed tests on my Sony Xperia 5 IV, and to be honest its piss poor. Doing a few tests in various places, im getting around 0.2 - 1.6 MBPS download with Upload being 6MBPS Strangely, when I try this sim in my old Oneplus handset, its about 2-3MBPS Download and 31MBPS Upload. Now, both handsets are extremely poor for Download, considering when I was with 3 network, I wss getting around 50 - 60 MBPS Whats the issue here? Thanks1KViews0likes1CommentRe: Sony Xperia APN help
Oh thanks for that. Not sure why the Xperia instructions state it should be blank then Also, to check, should I change the MVNO type to be 0307 instead of the default 0309? Hi, Anyone here use a Sony Xperia handset? I've tried changing the APN settings on an Xperia 5 IV as per the Smarty instructions but they are not accepted. I am assuming it's because the APN type cannot be blank as per the instruction. I can leave it as it is but I'm sure that I should be3.4KViews0likes5CommentsNew SIM poor 4G
Hi, Ive been with 3 Network for years. I had no issue with connectivity/4G speeds etc but decided to move to Smarty as I preferred their contract but still using 3. Anyway, I'm all set and finding my 4G download speed is very poor. It's around 3mbps whereas upload is 20 Mbps I did initially change my APN settings as per the advice on the website to Sony Xperia settings but then I had no connection at all. I've changed back now but I'm not impressed with the download speeds. When I was with 3 it was around 60mbps. Help...is there a set up setting I need to change?
