One of my favourite hobbies is taking pictures and I’m a big fan of film cameras but it can become an expensive hobby having to develop each roll of film and the process can seem a little archaic nowadays when the phone we carry around in our pockets every day doubles up as a professional quality camera.
Whilst that can be debated there’s no doubt that the advancements in mobile phone cameras have made the world of photography more accessible than ever. I don’t know about all of you, but when it comes time for me to buy a new phone, the first feature I look at is the camera—that is always the deciding factor for me when I’m in two minds about which model to go for. I currently have the iPhone 13 Pro Max which takes great pictures—from up close, crisp portraits to low light night photos.
I thought it would be fun for us to share some of our favourite pictures we’ve managed to capture on our phones—see below for some of mine. Don’t forget to mention what phone you used to take yours with!

I love taking photos too!! Nothing beats a disposable for a holiday though.
I have an app which mimics a disposal camera and doesn’t show you the picture for a few days!!! So you get the authentic photo, without the cost - it’s called KOD cam

here’s some I’ve taken on my 13 pro

Great pictures @Tascha and @Georgia_1028769.
I looked at the forum's FAQ/instructions for uploading images, but they don't make sense and I can't seem to find a way for me to upload my images.

Thanks @YulianK.
Last time I looked, that option worked differently, but I see now it allows you to add an image to posts.
The forum's instructions may need to be changed, because last time I looked they described a different process for handling images.
Thank you 😊

Where's the manager? Just joking.

Anyway @YulianK, I looked at the forum's FAQ/instructions for uploading images, but they don't make sense and I can't seem to find a way for me to upload my images.

I've been swithering about changing my phone for a while now, it's almost 5 years old. Having just replaced the screen and battery (Samsung came to my house to do this) I'm going to keep it until I really need to change it - it's like a new phone and the photos aren't bad either - I'm sure the latest models would be better but I'm quite enjoying not having to pay a monthly fee for a handset just now 🤑

Still great quality for a 5-year-old phone being that phone cameras have come a long way in 5 years, imagine... the S23 Ultra has a 200MP camera 😎 I am exactly the same though, don't upgrade unless essential. I had my iPhone 6s for 5 years, now on my 3-year-old iPhone SE 2020.

My iPhone SE 2020 only has a teeny 12MP camera 😆 but it can still manage a few decent pics! Both of the pics attached are taken with it.
I am soon upgrading to an iPhone 14 purely for better camera quality, so excited to take even more pics of my dog!
@Georgia_1028769 I have to agree, you can't beat a disposable to take on holiday. There is something about the quality that never gets old. I use the Freeprints app to get my pictures printed and posted, you get 45 free a month so I have a whole box full of them 😋

A couple of nice sunsets.
First around the corner from my home, perfectly caught sun between the trees.
The second in Mallorca at Easter, taken from the coffee shop…a fisherman out for the evening catch.
