Hi,
A very simple question, but I'd like to resolve it before we go to USA.
I have dialled USA from UK and obviously used the "001" preface. On arrival in USA I need to phone the hotel who will send a shuttle for us. I will be using my UK Smarty SIM.
My question is - whilst in USA, do I just dial the area code and number, or do I need to preface it with anything?
Thanks for any advice.

I recommend prefacing this with "001" and that should work.

@MelBrow_2007939 Have you considered an Esim, f your phone accepts this? It is much cheaper. You then make calls via an app like WhatsApp - lots of people are on that app and many companies advertise the fact that(especially if dealing with tourists).
