My daughter’s phone is in my group plan. I move this from my group account and set up her own account.
When I try to remove it from my group it says she doesn’t have her own account to move it. But I can’t create an account for her unless she orders a sim. But she already has a sim!! And round we go!
Why can’t I just set up an account for my daughter first and then move her number/plan to it?
Does anyone know how I can achieve this?
I’ve emailed Smarty many times and I never get a response from them. 😕

@DarrenS_1735075 It possibly depends upon how you set up the account originally.
If you did not set her up with her own email address and details, then it is likely that you set her up as a 'nickname account' on your own account.
I suggest that you read this article: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/3408171-how-do-i-remove-a-member-from-my-group-plan
If my suspicions are correct, then you would need to set her up with her own email on a new sim and that would be allocated a new number. (The only way to keep her number would be to port out that number to another network for a short while and then port back to the new sim).
