SteveMcL_971032 If you look at your dashboard: https://smarty.co.uk/dashboard
it will show any balance and also explains that it will be used towards any payment on your account. Usually the balance is used first; when it runs out, smarty revert to taking the money from the method that you originally allowed (credit card/PayPal etc)
As far as I can see, the PayPoint barcode is generated from within the Smarty account and then you take that phone to the retailer and the money you pay is credited to the account. I'm not sure how you can take a copy of the barcode from a friend - would a photo be good enough quality?
SteveMcL_971032 How about forming a group where you pay for both plans? You would also get 10% discount (that does not apply if you are on a special offer plan though)

Hi, I know this post might be old however on the same topic - Say you have a group plan with multiple accounts setup, would you need to only use Paypoint to top up the owner account or would you still need to top up each individual one?
