Can anyone shed any light I got a motorhome wifi 5g system fitted in my motorhome which came with a smarty sim as standard I went away for a few days and used it with my fire stick it had 4 bars of ...
If, as I suspect, those are rural areas that you visited in Cumbria, Dorset and Somerset, then WelshPaul is spot on, Three and it’s MVNO’s in Smarty and ID Mobile have poor data connectivity in rural area’s.

I understand the rural bit but what I’m not understanding is why both sims on my phone and on my wifi system show 4 bars of signal and 4G but the Vodafone sim outperforms the Smarty one considerably that’s what I can’t get my head around 🤷♀️
