can't call
Net and wifi works fine but can't make outgoing calls, and haven't received any in the last 48hrs. Restarted the phone, all seems fine but when I dial a number there is no signal even.

It sounds like your phone may not be compatible with Smarty's 4G calling. Previously your phone will have dropped down to 3G to make or receive calls, but 3G has now been switched off across most of the UK. See here for more info.
