Going to watch Bon Jovi live in concert in my local area when he was on stage for over 3 hours of non stop rocking music and lost my hearing on that day well worth seeing.

The best gig I have been at was the Who and Alex Harvey Band in Glasgow in the 70’s. when Alex and the band played in their home city it just got the massive crowd ready for The Who. This was when throwing drumsticks into the crowd was ok before anyone ever thought someone could get injured. what an atmosphere out in the open air with Roger and the boys doing their stuff, WOW, 40 plus years ago and never topped. There was a band called Widowmaker playing on the bill too, and I met Bob Daisley from the band twice at Heathrow airport.

Rolling Stones in Roundhay Park Leeds in 1982. Iconic band with great support acts (Joe Jackson, George Thorogood, J Giels Band). Slept out in the park next to a large bonfire with the Hells Angels. What an experience.

Royal Blood, supported by The Amazons, at NIA. It wasn't long after Taylor's passing so every Foo's song (over the PA or played by the bands) was sung loud and with rock and roll passion 🤘

I was lucky enough to be at Nirvana third to last ever concert in Rome, Italy in February 1994. Kurt Cobain simply stood still at his microphone the whole time singing and playing guitar and yet I couldn't take my eyes off of him, so magnetic was his performance. I've seen hundreds of concerts after that but it still stands like the best one

I attended a MIKA live gig on my birthday this year in Matera. He is/was the ultimate performer so lively and fun. The venue was an old quarry and the atmosphere was electric. the audience was not huge but that added to the cosy atmosphere and the intimacy of the performance. MIKA was amazing!!!!!
