Sms not working

SVivacious1 Are you by any chance sending an sms to a 5-digit number (shot code) as a reply or an entry into a competition? If so, Smarty do not generally support that at present.

I presume you are a new Smarty user ?

Did you / Have you :

Checked that Three, the parent company of Smarty, offers good coverage where you live, work, socialise, all the places you use your phone, or have you “bought blind” and just hoped for the best ? 

Have you activated a Smarty SIM card and bought a plan, which would allow you to use the Smarty service ? 
What phone do you have ? Is it perhaps network locked to another network, meaning that until you get it unlocked, it won’t work with Smarty.

You say you can’t send text messages, but what about calls and data ? Are they working ?
