Smarty network access point settings
The phone is an unlocked nokia 2660 that was released 2 years ago it's from Argos https://www.argos.co.uk/product/3083646?storeID=4492&istCompanyId=a74d8886-5df9-4baa-b776-166b3bf9111c&istFeedId=30f62ea9-9626-4cac-97c8-9ff3921f8558&istItemId=rawxqwarl&istBid=t&&cmpid=GS001&_$ja=tsid:59157%7Cacid:804-627-9544%7Ccid:20269441415%7Cagid:%7Ctid:%7Ccrid:%7Cnw:x%7Crnd:6331895660348999012%7Cdvc:c%7Cadp:%7Cmt:%7Cloc:1006914&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=20269441415&utm_term=3083646&utm_content=shopping&utm_custom1=&utm_custom2=804-627-9544&GPDP=true&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwx-CyBhAqEiwAeOcTdbddZjCQ4veuVdEUqpyRUxmFbZESzo6CvxbeqU_dd3-Qnon6hZjpiBoC30YQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I am setting up the phone at my house where we have 3 signal with 5 devices all with Smarty. The SIM has been put in another phone which is fine.
The phone has a signal a full 4g one it just doesn't appear to have the appropriate Smarty/ 3 settings to make or receive calls and texts sorry for the confusion there. thanks

Are you within the Midlands area where Three UK (SMARTY Mobile's parent) have shutdown their 3G network, Rose_2015722?
Within this area you'll need a device with VoLTE capability.
Perhaps the MVNO SMARTY Mobile don't have a network profile for the Nokia 2660 handset. However, Three UK appear to support the device on their mobile network.

You are missing the major point - The phone is not picking up three, Smarty’s parent network, so even if you had the settings, it still would not work on Smarty, as the phone is not picking up the Three network.
As this is the Smarty community forum, we are customers, just like you, we don’t work for Smarty.
I would suggest one of two things :
1, Start a webchat with Smarty, which is available from 08.00 - 20.00 seven days a week.
2, As Smarty is owned by Three, it may be worth popping into a Three store to see if they can help you.
EDIT : I have just looked at the link you sent, which of course goes to the Argos website, and I note that in the description of the phone, Argos themselves say the phone can be used on EE, O2 and Vodafone. There is no mention of Three anywhere in the phone’s description.

I am waiting for a response from Smarty just thought i might get an answer here.
Strange in the product description I cant see any mention of network names. However in the questions on the page a member of staff has replied that it supports a three sim card.Thank you everyone for your replies.
