Short ring time
I have an IPhone 15 Pro Max. Since updating to IOS 18.1 my phone only rings for 10 seconds before going to answerphone. I tried the **61*+447782333123**30#
it says success but it still only rings for 10 secs. Really annoying as I keep just missing calls. Any help appreciated.
I believe what's happening is that Apple's Live Voicemail feature (which is basically an answerphone built into your iPhone) is picking up the call (although I think it actually waits about 20 seconds).
*# network codes will not make any difference, as it is not the network voicemail system that's answering the call.
If you want to turn off Live Voicemail, go into Settings > Apps > Phone, and toggle Live Voicemail off there.
